What does it mean?

This map describes America from the point of view of the rest of the people around the world. 

It basically describes the countries and the states in America with one sentence that says why are them famous and known.

What is the author´s intention?

The author tries to describe the different countries and states just the way they are, without thinking first if those things are good or bad. 

He only says the things or facts that those regions are famous for.

Examples:

• WHOPPERS AND BIG MACS: This country is known because of the high number of mcdonald´s restaurants

• COLD: This state is known because of its cold weather

• TAKEN REVOLUTIONARY PROBLEM STATE: Chile is known because of its state´s problems

• DISNEY: Disney is a very famous company located in California

• BILL GATES: He was born in Washington and he was one of the fundators of Microsoft
